Operated by Muumuu Rainbow, a Hawaiian dress rental store in Waikiki, Muumuu Mall continues the mission of preserving and sharing Hawaiian traditions. We focus on sustainability, local pride, and spreading the aloha spirit far and wide.
Visit Our Waikiki Store In June 2024, we opened our physical store in Waikiki, offering visitors the chance to explore unique Hawaiian products and participate in cultural workshops. From Furoshiki wrapping to Hawaiian block printing, our workshops provide hands-on experiences that celebrate Hawaiian heritage. We are open daily, so stop by and discover the beauty of Hawaii in person!
We also provide Hawaiian block printing workshops, where you can create custom prints using traditional techniques. These interactive sessions allow you to immerse yourself in Hawaiian culture while learning a fun and creative skill.

Our Story: From Rentals to Retail Muumuu Mall began with Muumuu Rainbow, a Hawaiian dress rental store catering to weddings and special occasions. Focused on preserving authentic Hawaiian traditions, Muumuu Rainbow offered formal Hawaiian attire and wedding dresses, emphasizing local resources.
In 2021, the COVID-19 lockdown forced us to close the rental store. Pivoting quickly, we launched Fabric Hawaii, selling leftover fabrics for mask-making and crafts. Starting on Etsy, our fabric sales flourished, earning rave reviews and attracting a creative community.
Recognizing the growing need for small production support and unique designs, we evolved into Muumuu Mall (formerly "Muumuu Outlet"). We expanded our inventory to include local designer products, dog Hawaiian shirts, and custom Hawaiian apparel.
We also offer lightly used rental clothing at discounted prices, providing affordable options while reducing waste. In 2021, we further grew by acquiring Princess Kaiulani Fashions, enabling us to establish our own production team and better support local start-ups and custom designs.

Muumuu Mall is proud to offer ready-made dresses from Princess Kaiulani Fashions, bringing timeless elegance and cultural heritage to our customers. As the exclusive retail store for Princess Kaiulani Fashions in Waikiki, we continue to preserve and promote Hawaiian craftsmanship and style.

Muumuu Mall offers a variety of Hawaiian dress brand items sourced from local Hawaii. In addition, we feature a selection of party dresses, men’s pants, and shoes originally available from our rental dress store. At Muumuu Mall, we sell these items under the label "Muumuu Outlet." Many of these pieces are brand new or lightly used and professionally maintained. Unlike standard second-hand clothing, all rental items have been carefully inspected and cared for to ensure high quality. Some items have never been rented, making them as good as new.
